Scottish Water

We are a Scottish Water Approved Self Lay Contractor for Water Mains in the North of Scotland to install mains and connections on both domestic, industrial and commercial projects. As a self-lay organisation; G. A. Duncan & Sons Ltd can be directly appointed by a developer to install mains and connections on a site, with Scottish Water's preference for all new developments to be undertaken by self-lay organisations.

We also carry out the testing and commissioning of new pipelines
prior to connection into the existing network. We offer a pressure test complete with digital data-logged report and are operating the Carela Injector Chlorination System supplied by EPSCO. This is a Scottish Water preferred method for pipeline disinfection and has Drinking Water Inspectorate and Scottish Office Environment Department approval.

We are currently ongoing the installation of new water mains to various new property sites over the North East for developers to include Barratt North Scotland, Robertson Homes, Stewart Milne and Tullochs.
